Webinar on Impairment and Pedestrian Safety

Examining alcohol/drug impairment among pedestrians and bicyclists on college campuses 

This presentation will highlight an education-awareness project focused on understanding and preventing college students from walking/biking impaired to ultimately help reduce alcohol/drug impaired injuries.  The core work of the project focused on exploring college students’ perspectives on impaired walking/biking on their campuses through surveys and focus groups to shed light on future outreach efforts.  Staff also completed data analysis of 1 year of crash data which will briefly be discussed.
