What is the Texas Statewide Pedestrian Safety Coalition? 

The Texas Statewide Pedestrian Safety Coalition is group of individuals and organizations focused on enhancing pedestrian safety in the State of Texas.

What does the Texas Statewide Pedestrian Safety Coalition do? 

The Texas Statewide Pedestrian Safety Coalition supports advocacy, education, and outreach around pedestrian safety in Texas.

The coalition meets quarterly to discuss pedestrian safety issues and what communities across the state are doing to promote pedestrian safety. More information on meetings can be found here.

The coalition also hosts webinars on important pedestrian safety topics throughout the year. Click here to view previous webinars.

Finally, the coalition hosts an annual pedestrian safety forum. More information on past forums can be found here.

What are the goals of the Texas Statewide Pedestrian Safety Coalition? 

The goal of the Texas State Pedestrian Safety Coalition (TSPSC) is to reduce pedestrian fatalities and injuries in Texas communities. The TSPSC serves as a public forum that promotes and improves pedestrian safety by identifying partnerships and opportunities for collaboration and capacity building, as well as facilitating statewide communication around statewide safety laws.
