Join us the evening prior to the 2025 Texas Pedestrian Safety Forum for a walking tour that will showcase the incredible work San Antonio has been doing around walkability, shade equity, and public space innovation. Walk the Block 2025 starts at 4:30 on Monday June 16 and will bring together local partners, advocates, and community voices to explore walkability, safety, and placemaking along the La Zona/San Pedro Creek corridor in San Antonio. We will meet La Zona Centro (337 W Commerce St, San Antonio, TX 78205) and conduct a community walk focused on shade, crossings, and wayfinding, with our walk concluding with a social hour at Mi Tierra Café y Panadería (218 Produce Row, San Antonio, TX 78207) at 6:30. Attendees are free to join either event as they are free and interested!
