In our latest webinar, we highlighted SafeAcross, a pedestrian safety campaign that began in Springfield, Missouri and has demonstrated measurable improvements in crosswalk safety over the past few years. The session covered how SafeAcross integrates education, engineering, enforcement, equity, evaluation, and policy to create a comprehensive, scalable approach to safer crossings. We also noted that FHWA supports and features this free campaign as a noteworthy practice of the Safe System Approach, offering a model communities can adapt to advance pedestrian safety.
